Vision
A Holistic approach to Wellness and Resilience
At Project Salus, we understand that in todays fast paced world, filled with challenges, uncertainties, and obstacles, the interplay between wellness and resilience is more crucial than ever.
Wellness focusses on overall health and well-being, encompassing physical, mental, emotional and social aspects. Resilience on the other hand, is the ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt to change, and grow stronger through life’s challenges. When these two concepts are combined, they form a powerful framework that empowers individuals, teams, and communities to not only survive but thrive.
Our vision is to provide valuable insights and practical strategies that can be incorporated into existing lifestyles with ease, improving overall health and wellbeing. Whether you are seeking ways to overcome personal setbacks, looking to enhance your coping mechanism, or aspiring to lead a more balanced and healthy life, we are here to support your journey.

EMMA
Facilitator
Emma has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years across roles within clinical, leadership and educational settings from tertiary facilities to rural and remote areas of Australia.
Her passion for wellness, and curiosity about the social brain and its impact on learning, leadership, and resilience, motivated her to complete her postgraduate study in neuroscience.
This academic journey deepened her understanding of the intricate workings of the brain and its profound impact on overall health and wellness.
Emma’s path then led her to explore the practice of wellness in the form of yoga, becoming a certified yoga teacher. It was during this time that she truly appreciated the concept of mind-body connections, recognising the potential for combining this ancient, eastern practice with modern, western science to transform wellness and resilience in our personal and professional lives.
Her background in emergency nursing, leadership roles during the Covid pandemic, and delivering trauma workshops as a clinical educator to community first responders in rural and remote areas of Australia, has provided first-hand experience of the impact of trauma and stress on individuals, teams, and communities.
Her studies in neuroscience and yoga philosophy, has highlighted the many strategies and tools that can be used to support people through these challenging times, minimising harm and optimising health and wellbeing.
Emma’s passion for sharing the concepts of wellness, resilience, stress management and neuroleadership formed her vision for Project Salus, delivering targeted workshops to individuals, teams and communities.
